Abstract

The modern approach to performance analysis of control systems is mainly focused on deterministic methods: in this paper is reported an alternative technique based on stochastic approach in order to simulate real time targets for radar system testing. In the work a suitable representation of the objects populating the radar environment (targets, clutter, distrurbances) has been given, considering their properties as the realizations by stochastic processes. The application of stochastic simulation to radar systems provides accurate and reliable measurement and prediction tests of such systems. A statistical modelling of wind farm return, based on the physical model of the single wind turbine, will also be proposed in this paper
