Development of network-sensing and congestion-control mechanisms is one of the focus topic in the modern society of information as consequence of the huge growth in types of services, data links and connectivity. In this paper a monitoring system based on Hidden Markov Model is proposed and implemented such to inter-act with Distributed Internet Generator, Preliminary experiments performed in a real testbed shows excellent results in the ability to manage the source-traffic generation and adapt to the channel conditions.

Abstract
